Tablet Salt – Water Softening Salt
The chemical used during the backwashing of water softening devices, which cleans the resin and ensures long-term service, is called purification salt. Its natural ingredient is sodium chloride. It can be found in granule and tablet salt form.
Liquid Chlorine and Powder Chlorine
The liquid or solid chemical containing chlorine compounds used to disinfect drinking and utility water and pools is called chlorine. Chlorine effectively and economically neutralizes bacteria in water.
Chlorine is available as liquid, powder, tablet and gas. Liquid chlorine and powder chlorine models are most preferred and are applied in various packages.
Antiscalant
The product used to prolong the clogging time of reverse osmosis membranes from lime is called antiscalant. Water that has passed through the pre-filter is automatically dosed with the help of a dosing pump, at a dosage appropriate to the water character.
Caustic
It is an extremely effective and dangerous basic chemical with the chemical formula NaOH, sold in liquid or granule form, and used in wastewater facilities and deionization systems. It is generally used by diluting as resin regenerant or for pH adjustment.
Caustic product must be applied with the appropriate dosage amount by experienced personnel. Consuming poor quality caustic may cause resin deterioration in a short time.
Hydrochloric Acid (HCl)
It is an extremely effective and dangerous acidic chemical with the chemical formula HCL, sold in liquid form, and used in wastewater facilities and deionization systems. It is generally used by diluting as resin regenerant or for pH adjustment.
HCl product must be applied with the appropriate dosage amount by experienced personnel. Consuming poor quality HCl may cause resin deterioration in a short time.
Membrane Washing Chemical
Reverse osmosis membranes become clogged over time due to contaminants in the water. These blockages occur due to three effects: physical, chemical or biological. In order to reopen the clogged membranes, a chemical cleaning process called washing process is performed. The substances used in this process, which generally gives positive results if the clogging of the membranes is diagnosed early, are called membrane washing chemicals.
Polyelectrolyte
The chemical group that electrically brings together solids, solids and turbidity particles in water, makes them flocculate, makes them heavier and causes them to collapse is called polyelectrolyte. Polyelectrolytes are called cationic, anionic or nonionic depending on their electric charge. Generally, its application is done through a proportional dosing pump.
Rosin
Mini spheres, generally yellow or amber in color, used in water softening and deionization processes are called resin. Resins are called softening resins or deionization resins depending on the process in which they are used.
